The Crumbling Pillars of Globalism

One Miscalculation After Another

By Glenn R. Jackson

September 11th dealt a stunning blow to the lords of the New World Order.  Not for one second did these purveyors of globalism, the new global economy and a world without borders believe that the “unpleasantness” of other parts of the world would visit theirs.  Yet it did and the shockwaves are still working their way through not only the financial markets, but also the corridors of power in capitals across the world.  As those shockwaves move through this nation’s capital the question “What price freedom?” may be legislated into “What happened to freedom?”

Nevertheless the global elites soldier on.  The economy, first seen as a basket case became a stretcher case, but has not yet imploded.  Having survived terror and accountants the U.S. economy seems strong enough to rebound…eventually.  No further terror has made the shores of the U.S., well nothing big and splashy anyway.  The borders remain open for goods and labor to move freely across.

The Globalist is in his heaven and all is becoming right again with the New World Order.

Well hold on not so fast Master of the Universe, there is another shoe ready to fall.  Well it is actually more like a rather large combat boot, Chinese made of course.

China is another NWO pillar of hope that is slated to support the global economy and the dreams of globalist everywhere.  Ostensibly China is viewed as a nation of underachieving and frustrated consumers, but that is a lie.  China is really nothing more then a labor pool for American and other Western multinational corporations.

The hope of the globalist for China is the same that was realized with a rebuilt Japan.  After Japan’s defeat in World War II, and with U.S. help, that nation built a free market economy from transistor radios to the Lexus automobile.  That is quite the successful model for defeated enemies.

Unfortunately the Cold War ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union, not China.  China aborted their freedom movement in Tiananmen Square with acquiescence from the U.S. administration that first proclaimed a New World Order.

Yet China seems destined to emulate Japan in at least one way.  In the early 20th Century, in the run up to WWII an expansionist and increasingly militaristic Japan was the recipient of the raw materials of war from greedy Western industrialist willing to sell anything to Japan.  The eagerness of any era’s Masters of the Universe to ignore the obvious in pursuit of “world markets” should never be underestimated.  Only Yamamoto’s fleet was able to focus the United States on the folly of their time.

What will focus us on ours?

China continues to be a belligerent and hostile force in the midst of peaceful neighbors.

Throughout history miscalculations have led to more wars then you will care to count.  Bin Laden miscalculated in destroying the World Trade Center, and now lies dead somewhere in the mountains of the Afghan region.  United States political and business elites miscalculated on the wisdom and safety of opening the doors of the nation to the troubles of the world, and thousands have died and the nation approaches Balkanization.  Soon to be exposed is the miscalculation of pinning our hopes on a belligerent China to be the new engine of a global economy.  Does anyone remember the Cuban missile crisis?  Try saying Chinese missile crisis three times real fast, while running for shelter.

Yet to be seen is whether the leadership of the United States will continue with the most serious miscalculation of all, failing to put the national interest of the American people first.
